Jesse Geller concentrates his practice in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including extensive experience in acquisition/sale, development and construction, financing and leasing transactions. Mr. Geller also represents borrowers and lenders in secured commercial lending transactions. Mr. Geller’s practice also includes representing clients in connection with business formations and the acquisition/sale of small businesses and other business related matters, with a concentration in the purchase ownership and sale of restaurants and other food and beverage establishments.

Mr. Geller was born in Chinon, France and was raised in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He is a 1983 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a 1986 graduate of Boston University School of Law. Mr. Geller is Chairman of the Town of Brookline Zoning Board of Appeals and an officer and director of the Yavneh Corporation. Mr. Geller is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.

Representation of quasi-state agency in connection with loan participation, project development financing and agreements involving nine lenders.

Structuring and negotiation of ground lease for mixed-use retail and residential project.

Review and negotiation of purchaser documentation for the purchase of a multi-building office park and related financing.

Review and negotiation of purchaser documentation for the purchase of a residential apartment portfolio of six buildings.

Advise high end clothier in connection with leasing of multiple shopping center locations.

Advise purchaser of industrial site and negotiation of lease back and financing.

Representation of purchaser of boutique hotel and related financing and operating agreements.

Review and negotiation of sale documents for retail mall on behalf of owners.

Business:

Representation of purchaser of twenty “fast-food” franchise operations and related financing.

Advise chef/owner in connection with and negotiation of dispute resolution and buyout documentation involving multiple operation portfolio.

Negotiation of purchase of assets by and transition of ownership of restaurant to chef/investor.

Review and negotiate investment structure and documentation on behalf of investor in multi-site affiliated restaurant operations.

Representation of minority investors in sale of assets of large real estate brokerage company.

Advise investors in connection with formation of real estate investment company and related operating entities.
