Jill is a seasoned business litigator and corporate counselor.  In litigation, Jill has successfully represented public and private companies, across a range of industries, in breach of contract disputes, business-to-business tort claims, intellectual property disputes, consumer protection lawsuits, real estate disputes, and the enforcement of creditors' rights in bankruptcy court.  Jill approaches her engagements from a practical, business-oriented perspective, focusing on early case assessment, strategy development and case planning, in close consultation with her clients and being mindful of the potential costs of litigation in terms of money and business disruption.

Jill also regularly serves as outside counsel for business clients, advising on various matters including commercial contracts, protection of intellectual property, employment policies and confidentiality, privacy and security matters.  By understanding her clients' business goals and objectives, Jill advises on the practical, day-to-day means of minimizing and managing risk, while also providing resolution strategies and solutions.

Jill is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, including the United States Courts of Appeals for the First and Federal Circuits.  Jill has achieved an AV Preeminent® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible peer rating on both legal ability and ethics.  She has also been honored as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer® "Rising Star" in Boston Magazine for Business Litigation since 2009.  

Jill is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A. in Political Science) and Michigan State University College of Law (J.D.), where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the MSU-DCL Journal of International Law.  She also serves on the Board of Directors of Hill House, Inc., a non-profit community center in downtown Boston providing a variety of programs for local area youth.
